The More You Do The Less You Wait

“The more you do, the less you wait” - Mac Miller

When we imagine us reaching “success”, we typically imagine a defining moment where something big happens that changes our life forever. We assume there is always a fine line that we must cross to reach the desired state of “success” and that the change is always drastic.

Although this is true in some cases, it rarely happens. In reality, success is measured by our day-to-day habits, not one defining moment. Therefore, at the end of every day, we must reflect on whether or not we’ve performed in way that brings us one step closer towards our goals.

Each day, If we put in the time and effort into our work, it is deemed successful regardless of the outcome. Every day won’t be perfect. We’re humans after all. We’ll come up short, miss deadlines and face rejections. But the sooner we fail, the sooner we get up and start chipping away at our goals again. And this is all determined by how much time and effort we put into our goals on a daily basis.

So when you have a new goal in mind, remember to start off by placing a system that allows you to work on your goal consistently. Daily success leads to long-term success and daily success is achieved by making every single day count.
